Kettlebells have been used successfully throughout the world as a great training tool. Over the last Century Kettlebells have been utilised as a form of weight training by strongmen, power-lifters and wrestlers. In more recent times, through
many scientific studies, it has been concluded that the Kettlebell is the single most effective tool for developing strength and endurance as well as functional-based training.In order to benefit fully from this dynamic training it is vital to master technique. Our classes will provide you with a solid foundation in order to perform the core Kettlebell exercises without injury and with total confidence.
Rather than teaching you a bunch of exercises just to make you feel good, you will learn why each exercise is beneficial to you and this will help you become proficient at each move.
Our Kettlebell Classes are ideal for all fitness enthusiasts, Personal Trainers, those who want to improve their current form, or those who wish to learn Kettlebells from scratch. There is something for everyone at FirthFitness.
Here are some of the benefits from using Kettlebells
- Exercises performed with Kettlebells focus on gaining functional strength, meaning it complements movements made in daily life as well as during sporting activities.
- Muscles learn to work together as lifting and controlling a Kettlebell (due to its unique shape) provides whole-body conditioning and toning.

- Commonly made up of Ballistic movements within Kettlebell Workouts (purposefully and controlled explosive and intense) they will challenge and recruit core strength, correcting muscle imbalances, poor flexibility, back pain and many more common “ailments” caused by inactivity, poor posture or muscle weakness which otherwise restrict exercise.

Kettlebell Classes are held at : Finaghy Community Centre, 1 – 6 Geeragh Place, Belfast, Co Antrim BT100ER. ( GOOGLE MAP)
Cost: £5 per class
Booking: Is required if you would like to attend any of the classes.
